The overall aim of the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District is to provide the opportunity for maximum development of each student both as an individual and as a worthy, contributing member of society. It is the policy of Roanoke Rapids Board of Education to provide equal educational opportunities for all students and to prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, national origin, sex, marital status, religion or handicapping conditions in its educational programs and activities.
All qualified children of legal school age domiciled within the Roanoke Rapids School District are entitled to attend the Roanoke Rapids Schools; nonresidents of the District are not so entitled.
