Online Application Process

 

Thank you for your interest in Roanoke Rapids Graded School District (RRGSD).   RRGSD requires that all applicants for all positions complete the NC Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) online application.  Certified, classified, and substitute applications are available online. 

The following information will help you complete the process:

·       Access the online application from the North Carolina Public Schools web site.

·       If you have never submitted an application through this site before, select New User.

·       Complete the required New User/Login registration information.

·       Your registration will be confirmed with your user name and password.

·       You will be required to sign on.  Please use your user name and password from the registration process.

·       Select the appropriate application type – licensed, classified, or substitute teacher. 

v   Select the 'Licensed' link if you are applying for a position which requires a professional educator's license.  Examples of licensed positions include: Teacher, Principal, Assistant Principal, Media Coordinator, Counselor, and Speech Language Pathologist. 

v   Select the 'Classified' link if you are applying for a position which does not require a North Carolina educator's license.  Examples of classified positions include: Instructional (Teacher) Assistant, Office Support, Tutor, Custodian, Food Service Manager or Assistant, and Maintenance Worker.

v   Select the ‘Substitute’ link if you are applying for a position as a substitute teacher.

·       Select Create Application.  You may submit up to one application in each category.

·       Complete the required information.  Please note, there are several screens to complete in each application.

·       On the Application Information page, please make sure that you select the Roanoke Rapids Public School System as your site preference.

Your application will be submitted within 24 hours.  To make sure that your application has been received, you may contact the Human Resources Department by calling 252-519-7100 or emailing wardsworthd.co@rrgsd.org .  ALL candidates for employment must also complete the Authorization for Release of Information form and return it to the Human Resources office located at 536 Hamilton Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC.  You may also fax it to us at 252-535-5919.
