Directions to Away Games
Bertie High School – Take Highway 158 East to Jackson. Take right fork outside of Jackson toward Rich Square on Highway 305 through Rich Square and Aulander toward Windsor. Bertie High School is on the right, a few miles after Highway 305 merges with Highway 13.
Broughton High School (Raleigh) – US 64 West. Take the I-440 North Ramp towards Outer Beltline/Wake Forest. Merge onto I-440 West. Take the Capital Blvd/US-401 South exit towards Downtown , exit 11A. Continue on Capital Blvd. Bear right on Peace Street. Turn right on W. Peace Street. Turn right on St. Mary’s Street.
Brunswick County High School – Leaving from the High School – Take Roanoke Avenue to the top of the hill in Gaston. Turn left onto Highway 46 and continue on it up into Virginia. Take Highway 58 Bypass East, get off at the next exit, which will take you under around and under a bridge. Drive straight and the school will be on the right. The baseball field is behind the school. You can take either path to it.
OR
Take I-95 North to Emporia Exit 11. Travel west on US 58 for approximately 15 miles. Turn right onto US 58 business ramp. Turn left onto Lawrenceville Plank Road. The school should be on the left.
Bunn High School – Take I-95 South. Exit 64 West. Go 10-12 miles. Take Middlesex exit and turn right at stop sign. Go approximately 50 yards. Turn left at stop sign onto Highway 98. Go about 3 miles and turn right. Bunn High School is 5 miles on the left.
OR
Take Highway 48 to Brinkleyville. Turn right onto 561 to Louisburg. Turn left at first stoplight at Louisburg. Turn left onto Highway 39 South. Stay on Highway 39 to Bunn. Bunn High School is 11 miles on right.
Charles B Aycock High School –Take I-95 South. Merge onto US-264 East via exit 119. Merge onto US-301 N at Exit 43A. Turn slight right onto US-117. Follow US-117 to the school.
Corinth Holders High School - From Bunn take 39 South past Five County Stadium (where the Mudcats play) and go to the intersection with Hwy 231 at Emit crossroads. Turn right on 231 South. Go 2.4 miles to Hwy 96, turn left and then immediately back to the right on Lake Wendell Road. Go 2.1 miles to Applewhite Road and turn left. The school is half a mile down on your right.
OR
Take 95 South to 64 West and take 39 South to Five County Stadium.
Durham School of Arts – Take I-85 South. Take the Gregson Street exit (exit 176-B). Turn left at the stoplight at the bottom of the exit. At 4th light, turn left onto Minerva. School is on the left.
Edison Johnson Recreation Center & Pool - From I-85, exit at Duke Street North. Continue approximately 1/2 miles north to traffic light at Murray Avenue, make a right turn onto Murray Avenue, continue 1/4 miles and pool is on your left, adjacent to the Museum of Life & Science.
East Wake High School – I-95 South to 64 West. Turn on Rolesville Exit. Right on Rolesville Road. Take sharp right on Riley Hill Road.
*Alternate directions due to work on the Rolesville Exit:
I-95 South to 64 West. Take Wendell Exit. Turn left a top of exit. Turn right at the first stoplight onto NC 97. Merge onto Business 64. At first light turn right onto Rolesville Road. This road will take you to the school.
Edenton High School – Take Highway 158 to Jackson. Outside of Jackson, turn right on Highway 305. Follow Highway 305 through Rich Square and Aulander to Windsor. Turn left to go through Windsor at the first turn when the road changes to four lanes. Follow this street through Windsor. At the 2nd stoplight, stay straight. This will be Highway 17. Follow Highway 17 to Edenton. Turn right on the hospital exit. Go to the first “T” intersection. Turn right. The school will be a couple of blocks on the left.
Edenton High School (Purser Soccer Field) – Hwy 158 to Jackson. From Jackson take Hwy 305 through Rich Square and Aulander to Windsor. From Windsor take Hwy 17N to Edenton. Take the hospital exit off Hwy 17, turn right at the end of the off ramp. Cross railroad tracks to stoplight, turn left. Drive until you cross the railroad tracks again and turn right on the first street. This street will take you to the field.
Edison Johnson Aquatic Center (DSA) – Coming from I-85, exit on Duke Street. Head north for 5-6 blocks, depending on how the construction has progressed, to Murray Street. Turn right. Pool is about ½ mile on the left, just before the Museum of Life and Science.
Elon College (Jimmy Powell Tennis Center) – Interstate 85/40 to Exit 141. From southbound 85/40, exit right and turn right. From northbound 85/40, exit right and turn left. Turn left onto Garden Road at light. Right onto St. Marks Church Road at stop sign. Straight, through stoplight onto Williamson Ave. toward Elon College. Cross over railroad tracks and turn right a stoplight onto Lebanon. Take Lebanon down through the four-way stop and turn left onto Kerr. Powell Tennis Center is straight ahead.
Franklinton High School – Take Highway 48 to Brinkleyville. Turn right onto 561 to Louisburg. Turn left onto Highway 39 through Louisburg toward Raleigh. Outside of Louisburg, take Highway 56 to Franklinton. In Franklinton, take a right at the 2nd stoplight onto Cheatham Street. Franklinton High School is a couple of blocks on the left
Franklinton Recreation Park – Follow the directions to Franklinton through Louisburg. As you get close to Franklinton, look for the old Burlington Mill Road. Turn right on Burlington Mill Road before you get to the Mill. Turn left on E. Mason Street and then take an immediate right turn onto Second Street. Second Street will take you directly to the Recreation Park Fields.
Gates County High School – Take Highway 158 east through Conway and Murfreesboro. Continue on Highway 158 across the Winton Bridge (Thad Eure Bridge). Stay on Highway 158 by veering right after passing Tar Heel Barbecue. School will be approximately 5 miles on the right. Tennis courts are at the recreation center just before you get to Gates County High School.
Goldsboro YMCA – I-95 South to 70. 70 East to Goldsboro. Turn on Spence Exit. Turn left at the stoplight. Turn right on the service road (past Ruby Tuesday and Outback). Turn left onto Parkway Drive. The YMCA is on the left.
Granville Athletic Park (S. Granville Women’s Soccer) – Take US-158 west to I-85. Take I-85 South. Take the US-15 exit to Oxford/Clarksville. Turn right onto US-15, then immediately turn Left onto Belltown Road. Granville Athletic Park is at 4615 Belltown Road.
Greene Central High School – Take I-95 South to exit 121. Turn left onto 264. Go through Wilson on 264 and 58. Follow 58 to Highway 13. Turn left on Highway 13. Go to 2nd stoplight in Snow Hill and turn left. Turn left at the end of this road. Take next left. Greene Central High School is on the right.
Hertford County High School – Follow Highway 158 East to Jackson (approx. 16 miles). Go through Jackson, about 1 mile past traffic light and turn right onto NC 305 South. Follow NC 305 South to Rich Square (approx. 12 miles). Go straight through light at Rich Square and continue on US 305 S/US561 E towards St. Johns. Follow US 305 S/US 561 E for approx. 7 miles and then continue straight on US 561 E for approx. 5 more miles to St. Johns (US 305 S branches off to right just before airport). In St. Johns, bear right to remain on US 561 E towards Ahoskie. Follow 561 E for approx. 5 additional miles and Herford County High School will be on the left (approx. 1 – 1 ½ miles past US 11 intersection).
Hertford County Middle School – Hwy 158 East to Murfreesboro. At third stoplight, turn left onto Hwy 11. The school is a short distance on the right.
Ledford Senior High – From Greensboro, take I-85 South towards Charlotte. When I-85 splits, take I-85(29-70) on the right towards High Point. This is old I-85 (green interstate sign). Several miles after you pass the High Point exits, you will then take the Highway 109, Winston-Salem/Thomasville exit. At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Highway 109 North. Go 4 miles until you pass Ledford Middle School on the right and then go one more mile until you see the sign for Ledford Senior High School. Turn left onto Jesse Green Road and the school is ½ mile on your left.
Louisburg High School - Take Highway 48 to Brinkleyville. Turn right onto 561 to Louisburg. Turn right onto Bickett Blvd. Take left on Jolly Street. Jolly Street turns into Allen Lane after you cross Main Street. School is on your left.
Nash Central High School – Exit US 64 at the Nash Community College / Red Oak Exit. Turn toward Nash Community College. Continue through stoplight and cross railroad tracks. Nash Central High School is ahead on the left.
NCCU Swim Center – South on I-85. Left on Alston Ave./NC55. As you get to the south edge of NCCU, follow Alston Ave. as it turns left at the traffic signal. From that corner, it is about ¾ mile to Campus Hills Pool, on your right. The entrance has always been a little blocked from view by bushes. There is a turn lane there, but still not real clear. The facility sign is large, though.
New Bern YMCA – Follow 43 to stoplight after rest area. Turn right and follow Glenbury Road (this becomes Neuse Blvd). After 2 stoplights, turn right onto Simmons Street. Follow to the end. Turn left and get in right lane. After CarQuest, turn right. Go to 6th street and turn right. YMCA is one block.
North Johnston High School - I-95 South, exit 107, turn right at bottom of ramp onto 301 South, school is about 2 1/2 miles on the right.
Golf - matches are played at Cardinal Country Club. I-95 South, exit 107, go past NJHS. At the flashing light at Bizzell Grove Church Road, turn left. Cross the tracks and go over I-95, turn right on Batten Farm Road. When Batten Farm Road turns right, stay left on Parrish Memorial. The golf course will be immediately on your right.
Tennis - Smithfield-Selma H.S. I-95 South, take exit 97 and turn right onto 70. Cross the bridge and turn left onto US 301 South. Turn right onto Booker Dairy Road. Smithfield-Selma H.S. will be on your left in about 1 mile. Tennis courts are on the left just before the school. Smithfield Community Park is just past Smithfield-Selma H.S. on the left.
North Lenoir High School – I-95 South to Exit 121-US 264. Turn left onto 264 Alt. Follow 264 to NC 58-S. Follow 58 to Snow Hill. Turn right on 258. Turn right on Institute Road (1st crossroads after the Lenoir County sign). School is on the right (if you get to a “blinking light” you have gone too far).
OR
I-95 South. Take the US-64 E. exit- exit number 138 – toward Rocky Mount/Tarboro. Merge onto US-64 E. Take the US-258S/NC-111S/NC-122S/US-64-ALT exit – exit number 485- toward Tarboro/Farmville. Follow 258 South. Turn right onto Institute Road.
Northeastern High School (Elizabeth City) – Hwy 158 East to Elizabeth City. At a stoplight the road forks and sign says Elizabeth City. Turn right onto 17 South. Follow 3-4 miles into Elizabeth City. Come to large intersection with Wal-Mart on left. Sign says Northeastern HS. Turn left and school is one block on right. Field is behind school.
Northampton-East High School – Follow Highway 158 East. Turn right at Faison’s Old Tavern. School is about 2 miles on the right.
Northern Vance High School – Take Highway 158 to Warrenton. Turn left at stoplight at top of hill. Go to the next stoplight and turn right onto 1001. Follow this road to the first stop sign. Turn left onto Brookstone Road. Follow this road to Northern Vance High School. The school will be on the right.
Northwest Halifax High School – Take Hwy 48 South. School is approximately 7 or 8 miles on the right before you get to Aurelian Springs.
Randleman High School – I-85 South. Turn onto US-220S toward Asheboro. Take the Randleman exit off of 220. Turn left at bottom of exit. Turn left at the first stoplight. Randleman Middle School is ahead on the left.
Ridgecroft School – Hwy 158 East to Murfreesboro. Stay on 158 bypass. Turn right onto Highway 11 (3rd light). Ridgecroft School is 6-7 miles on the left.
Rocky Mount Athletic Complex – Take I-95 South to exit 128. Go east on Highway 64 towards Rocky Mount. Take 301 business exit (also Centura Highway). Turn onto Barnum Road.
Rocky Mount Baseball Stadium – Take I-95 South. Exit 64 East. Take Sunset exit. Follow Sunset to Pine Street. Turn right on Pine Street. Turn left on Nash Street. At 4-way stop sign, turn right onto Howell Street. Stadium is on left.
Rocky Mount Senior High – Take I-95 south to exit 138. Make exit toward Rocky Mount/Tarboro. Follow 64 East to Sunset Avenue exit. Follow Sunset Avenue to Pine Street. Turn right. Turn left on Nash Street.
Rocky Mount YMCA – I-95 South to Gold Rock. Follow 301 to Rocky Mount. Bear left on 301 Business. Bear right on Franklin Street. Turn left on Hammond. First stoplight, turn right on Church Street. YMCA is on the left.
Rocky Mount Tennis Courts @ Sunset Park – Take I-95 South. Exit 64 East. Exit on Sunset. Get in left lane as you go over 301. Turn left on street across from Chicos Restaurant. Sunset Park is on this street.
Rosewood High School – Take I-95 South. Take the US-70/NC 29 exit (exit number 97) towards Selma/Pine Level. Turn left onto US-70 E. Turn right onto NC 581.
Smithfield-Selma – I-95 South to Exit 97, take right off ramp. Go over bridge (railroad tracks). Take left onto Bright Leaf Road. Go to McDonalds and turn right on Booker Dairy Road. Smithfield-Selma is on this road.
South Granville High School – Take Highway 48 to Brinkleyville. Turn right onto 561 to Louisburg. Turn left onto Highway 39 through Louisburg toward Raleigh. Outside of Louisburg, take Highway 56 to Creedmoor. South Granville High School is on the right.
OR
Take I-85 South to the Creedmoor/Butner exit. Turn left at top of exit ramp. Follow this road to Highway 50. Turn left onto Highway 50. Take 1st left onto Highway 56. Go about 1 mile and South Granville High School will be on your left.
South Granville Butner-Stem Middle School (girls soccer) – Hwy 158 West to I-85 South. Exit 191 turn right. Go to 22nd street and turn right. When you come to a stop sign, Butner-Stem Middle School is straight ahead.
Southeast Halifax High School – Follow 158 East to Highway 301. Follow 301 South. Outside of Halifax, follow Highway 125 toward Scotland Neck. Southeast is on the left at Crowell’s Crossroads.
Southern Nash – 95 South. Take exit 127. Turn right onto NC-97. Go about 6.5 miles, then turn left onto Southern Nash High Road. The school is about 1 mile from this turn.
Southern Vance High School - Take Highway 158 to Warrenton. Turn left at stoplight at top of hill. Go to the next stoplight and turn right onto 1001. Follow this road to the first stop sign. Turn left onto Brookstone Road. Turn left at Shell Convenience Mart onto Carey Chapel Road. Stay on this road past Aycock Elementary School. Turn right onto Garrett Road. Southern Vance High School is about 2 miles on the right.
Southwest Edgecombe – Take I-95 to Highway 43. Follow Highway 43 through Rocky Mount. Southwest Edgecombe is outside of Rocky Mount on the left. The school is on 43.
Southwest Onslow – I-95 South to Wilson. US-58 from Wilson to Snow Hill, 258 from Snow Hill through Kinston to Jacksonville. In outskirts of Jacksonville, turn right on 53. Southwest is about 1 mile on the right.
Tarboro High School – I-95 South to US 64. Take US-64 E to Tarboro. Take Tarboro/Farmville 258 exit. Turn left at the stop sign at the bottom of the exit. The school is at the 4th stoplight on Howard Avenue.
Tarboro High School Baseball Field - I-95 South to US 64. Take US-64 E to Tarboro. Take Tarboro/Farmville 258 exit. Turn left at the stop sign at the bottom of the exit. Turn right on Howard Avenue (4th Stoplight). Go to a stoplight where you have to turn either right or left. Turn right, then turn left at the next street. The field is at the end of this street at Martin Middle School.
Tennis Courts – Northern and Southern Vance – Take I-85 South. Follow US 1 toward Raleigh. Take exit 39 (Louisburg). Turn left at top of exit. Turn left onto Vicksboro Road. Tennis courts are about ½ mile on the left at Fox Pond Park.

Hwy 158 West to Warrenton. At first stoplight turn left. Turn right at next stoplight onto 1001. Go until you get to a stop sign. Turn left onto Brookstone Road. Turn left at Shell Convenience Mart onto Carey Chapel Road. Turn right on Vicksboro Road. The tennis courts are on the right at Fox Pond Park.
Warren County High School – Follow 158 West. Warren County High School is on the left before you get to Norlina.
Washington High School – Go to Halifax. Take 301/125. Turn left on Highway 125 to Scotland Neck. Turn right on Main Street (Hwy 258). Turn left on Highway 903. Follow Highway 903 to Williamston. Turn right at the 2nd stoplight. Go 1 block and turn left. Follow this street to the intersection of 64. Keep straight onto Highway 17 South. Follow for 20 miles. Turn left on 264 and go about 2.5 miles. Turn left on Slatestone Road.
Webb High School (Oxford) – From I-85 North, exit 206 Highway 158. Go to top of ramp and turn right. Go to 1st stoplight and turn right onto Oxford Loop Road. Follow loop road through yellow flashing light to 1st stoplight (2-3 miles). Turn right onto Highway 15 North. Go 1 block and turn left onto Webb School Road. School will be on left (1/4 mile).
Western Alamance – Take I-85 towards Greensboro. Take Elon College exit. At 1st stoplight, turn right. At next stoplight, turn left onto St. Mark’s Church Road. Go approximately 1 ½ miles to a stop sign and turn right onto Williamson Street. Go straight 4-6 miles. At a stop sign, turn left onto Highway 87. Go 1-2 miles. Western Alamance High School is on the right. Tennis courts are at the back of the school.
Western Guilford – Merge on I-85 South. Continue on I-40 West/I-85 South. Continue on I-40 West, exit #123. Take the Guilford College Road exit towards Jamestown, exit #213. Bear right on Guilford College road. Turn left on W. Market Street. Turn right on Friendway Road.
Williamston High School – Take Highway 301 to Highway 125 to Scotland Neck. In Scotland Neck, turn left onto Highway 903. Follow this to near Williamston to Abbit Mill. Turn right on the next road, then right again on the next road, and then left on the next road. Follow this road to the 1st stop sign. Cross this street and at the next stop sign go straight again. This street will take you to the baseball field on the left. You turn right to go to the high school.
Wilson Fike High School – Take I-95 South to exit 121. Take left at top of ramp onto Highway 264 East. Follow Highway 264 to Ward Blvd. Turn left. Go to Harrison Street and turn right. School is on the right.
Wilson Greenfield – Take I-95 South to exit 121. Take left at top of ramp onto Highway 264 East. Go to Forrest Hills Road (there is a McDonald’s and Burger King at this intersection). Turn right onto Forrest Hill Road. Follow to intersection of Highway 42. Turn right. Wilson Greenfield is about 1 mile on the left.
Wilson Hunt High School – Take I-95 South. Take Exit 121. Turn right off exit. Go to 1st stoplight and turn left at Bojangles. Stay on Lamm Road to a flashing red light (watch out for the railroad crossing). Go straight through the light. Hunt HS is about ½ mile ahead on the right.
