RRGSD staff made a donation today to the Tisch Brain Center at Duke Hospital in honor of Dain Butler.
Superintendent, Dr. Dain Butler was diagnosed with CNS lymphoma last year and has been undergoing treatment at the center. It is with great pleasure to announce that he is cancer free.
At the Butler's request, they asked money made from our faculty t-shirt fundraiser go to the Tisch Brain Center. A check for $1,046.66 has been sent in honor of Dr. Butler from the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District.
