ROANOKE RAPIDS GRADED SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES
MARCH 16, 2021 REGULAR BUSINESS MEETING
The March 16, 2021 Roanoke Rapids Graded School District (RRGSD) Board of Trustees regular business meeting will be held in-person at Manning Elementary School located at 940 Park Avenue, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870, at 6:00 PM.

In-person: The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. There will be limited seating (no more than 25 visitors) available for the public in order to properly social distance. Those interested in attending need to contact Jean Thompson at Central Services, at 536 Hamilton Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870, to receive a free ticket for entrance showing their willingness to comply with all COVID-19 regulations in the Strong Schools NC Public Health Toolkit. All visitors and staff will be symptom screened before entrance. Visitors must enter via the exterior door of the multipurpose room in the front of the building. All staff and board members will enter the main entrance.
Online: Members of the public can view or listen to all public portions of the meeting – the public will not be able to view or listen to closed session:

Per Policy 2310/Public Participation at Board Meetings the first part of at least one regularly scheduled board meeting will be set aside for citizens to address the board through public comment. Each speaker will receive three (3) minutes to present comments; however, the public comment session will not exceed thirty (30) minutes total except by majority vote of the board. Board members will not respond to individuals who address the board, except to request clarification of points made by the presenter. In order that the board may fairly and adequately discharge its overall responsibility, citizens desiring an item to be placed on the agenda for a specific board meeting should direct written requests to the superintendent/designee at least six working days prior to the meeting.
