Roanoke Rapids High School Senior Jake Pleasant has been named an ECU Chancellor’s Fellow and will receive a full tuition scholarship for eight semesters to attend East Carolina University beginning this fall.
Pleasant who plans to major in history is one of only 80 Fellows awarded this year out of 2700 applicants.
He is the son of Lori and Will Pleasant of Roanoke Rapids.
