Two RRHS Students Selected to Attend N.C. Governor’s School

Two rising Roanoke Rapids High School seniors will spend part of their summer attending North Carolina Governor's School, the nation's oldest statewide residential summer program.

Steven Vu has been selected to attend Governor's School East at Meredith College in the area of Choral Music.

Cameron Neal will attend Governor's School West at High Point University in the area of Natural Science.

Being selected is one of the most significant accomplishments a high school student can achieve.

Both will explore the latest developments, problems, and theories in their respective study area during the six-week program.
