The Roanoke Rapids Graded School District announced its 2020-2021 Student Scholars this week.
Superintendent Dr. Dain Butler will recognize 14 high school seniors Wednesday, May 19 who achieved scholar status for nine consecutive years.
The measure for earning scholar recognition at the middle school level is a cumulative “A” average for all core subjects with no individual 9 week grade below a “C”. No exploratory classes can be below a “C”.
The high school measure for earning scholar recognition is a cumulative “A” average for all subjects with no individual 9 week grade below a “C”. Calculation formula will be 1 st semester average plus 3 rd nine weeks average.
