The John 3:16 Center once again donated school supplies Friday afternoon to be distributed to students in need within the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District. The center has been collecting supplies and soliciting monetary donations for several weeks in an effort to help area children.
The John 3:16 which recently opened an office in Roanoke Rapids seeks to address the impact of poverty and trauma on families with children in Halifax, Northampton, and Warren counties through advocacy, education, empowerment, and community collaboration.
