They went to San Antonio, Texas and are coming home with the national trophy. Congratulations to our Chaloner Middle School Wind Breaker team on winning the National Kid Wind Challenge Middle School Division.
The students had to build an actual wind turbine that generates electricity. “They did amazing! Their solar challenge, hydro challenge, and presentation is really what helped them win the competition. They have worked so hard and we are incredibly proud of them,” Jenny Shives, AIG coordinator.
