If your child has RAT bucks to spend on their Readathon account, today is the FINAL day to do so!
Belmont Elementary School extends a heartfelt THANK YOU to our school community! We're incredibly proud of our readers and grateful for your support, which made our fundraiser a success. If your student has "RAT bucks" to spend based on the money they raised, there are only 7 days left to do so.

Belmont Elementary School has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon this year!
Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.
Our Read-A-Thon starts Sunday March 1, 2026.
About one week before our Read-A-Thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.
We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/mZvtqA/1?utm=email and following the simple instructions.
We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.
We hope EVERYONE participates.
Thanks so much,

Good morning Belmont families! This is just a reminder that we will be dismissing at 11:30 today. We hope everyone has a wonderful break and we will see you back on January 5th.
After reviewing the latest weather forecast this afternoon, and in consideration of the potential for inclement weather in our area tomorrow afternoon, RRGSD will operate on an Early Release schedule tomorrow, Monday, December 8th, 2025. There will be no school for Clara Hearne Pre-K Center and ACES. All after-school activities, including Place to Play, are canceled.
Dismissal times for tomorrow will be as follows:
Chaloner: 11:00 AM
Belmont and Manning: 11:30 AM
RRHS and RRECHS: 12:00 PM
Staff will be dismissed once all students have cleared the campus, and Central Office staff may leave once all buses have returned.
Please stay safe tomorrow afternoon. We will provide updates regarding Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, as more information becomes available. Thank you for your understanding as we work to prioritize the safety of our students, staff, and community.

Please take a moment to review the Census Verification Report your child brought home today in their Tuesday folder. It’s important that all details are accurate and up to date.
If any changes are needed, simply make corrections directly on the sheet or notify us as soon as possible.
Thank you for helping us keep our records current and ensuring smooth communication throughout the year!

Belmont Families,
We need your help to ensure dismissal runs safely and smoothly each afternoon. Please do not arrive on campus for dismissal before 2:30 p.m. Arriving early creates long lines along Robinson Drive, which impacts our neighbors and causes unnecessary congestion.
Our school day officially ends at 3:05 p.m., and students will not be released before that time. We kindly ask that you wait until after 2:30 to begin queuing so that traffic can flow more safely and we can remain considerate of the families along Robinson Drive.
Thank you for working with us to keep our dismissal process safe, efficient, and neighborly.

Good afternoon Belmont families,
If your child is an afternoon car rider and you missed our car tag table at Open House, please contact the front desk or inform your child's teacher. This allows for us to speed up the car line process and ensure your child is ready to load.
Note: every family is provided 1 car tag, additional car tags may be purchased for $5.

Good morning parents,
The buses have been delayed at Chaloner Middle School this morning, which will cause the Belmont, Manning, RRHS, and RRECHS routes to be delayed. Please know that all buses will pick up at the scheduled stops this morning. Thank you!
