Purpose of Saturday Academy
In an effort to combat the amount of absences and tardies at CMS, and to help reach our performance goal of 65% proficiency, students must be in attendance. CMS administration will assign students to Saturday Academy. Parents can voluntarily sign students up for Saturday Academy to clear a planned absence.
CMS administration will also assign Saturday Academy to students who display inappropriate behaviors.
Saturday Academy Time: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Dates: 1/12, 2/9, 3/9, 4/13, 5/18
Student and parent/guardian arrives. If late, without a valid reason, they are turned away and Saturday Academy is rescheduled for the following date.
*Student/Parent session 9:00-9:45 a.m. (Parent participation is mandatory)

*10:45-12:00 p.m. -Teacher may pull the student for ELA/Math support
