Students should arrive by 8:25 a.m. with their student ID, driver license, or any state issued picture ID. Congratulations to our RRHS Science Olympiad team! They earned 4th place at regionals this weekend in Kinston. They will now advance to the state competition in April. #KidsAreOurCustomers
The Tim Tebow Foundation rolled out the red carpet for our students Friday night in Rocky Mount as part of the “Night to Shine” prom experience. The foundation hosted 500 similar events around the globe. Our students were treated to dinner, dancing, and gifts. #KidsAreOurCustomers

We are taking every effort to see that your child is healthy while at school. We are wiping down desks throughout the day and doing extra cleaning after hours.
We ask if your child has any of these symptoms, please keep him or her home until all symptoms are gone for 24 hours. If your child has a fever, please keep them home until the fever is gone for 24 hours without fever lowering medication.
If you have any concerns over your child's health, please contact their medical provider.

[RRGSD Make Up Plan] The RRGSD Board has forgiven Jan. 17 & 18. Jan. 19 will be made up on Feb. 23rd which is currently a workday. Feb. 23 will now become a full student day. [RRHS Student Alert] Report to homeroom at 8:25 Wednesday morning where you will receive your new second semester schedule. We will be in homeroom for ten minutes. Then we will report to first period class and follow the regular school day schedule. Follow your new class schedule throughout the day.
Efforts have been made to ensure that you have the classes you requested last spring when you registered. Schedule adjustments will be considered in the following situations: a senior who needs a class to graduate, a student enrolled in a class he/she has already passed, a student who has a class out of sequence, a student failed a required class first semester or a student missing a class (no class listed for a period). If any of the above apply, please complete and return schedule correction form within the first 3 days of the semester. The schedule correction form may be picked up in the Guidance Office and Assistant Principal's Office. Additional changes may need to be made once final 1st semester grades are received.
