Reminder: Our RRHS College Financial Aid Workshop is tonight at 6 p.m. in the Media Center.

October is National Principals Month an opportunity to say “thank you” to our principals and share with the community all the great things principals do.
Today, we thank our Principal Tammie Williams. Under her leadership, RRHS has expanded its Career Technical offerings and increased the number of college courses being taught on our campus. #ThankAPrincipal

Everyday our students create, collaborate, and sometimes blow our minds with how well they're using digital tools. Join us for our very first Digital Learning Night on October 26th showcasing our student's best work! #KidsAreOurCustomers

Thanks to everyone in the community and our students who participated in today’s flag retirement ceremony.

We will have a flag retirement ceremony on the RRHS practice field today during POWER B. There will be a ceremonial firing of a musket. Members of the RR fire department and police department will assist. Our students are excited about today's ceremony!

The RRHS History Department in conjunction with local Veterans groups is hosting a flag retirement ceremony today on our high school campus. This year’s ceremony will be different and much louder. We will be having a real musket volley as a Revolutionary style 21-gun salute to the flag. (no real ammo will be used.) The ceremony will take place behind the high school softball field.

Our nursing students are getting some great hands on learning this week experimenting with blood type compatibility. #HealthCareers #KidsAreOurCustomers

Spirit Week Events: Powderpuff Football Game is Wednesday night at Hoyle Field. Seniors and Sophomores will take on the Juniors and Freshmen.

Tonight's football game was dedicated to our longtime Jackets Announcer Earl Telliga. Mr. Telliga died last year after an extensive battle with cancer. Principal Tammie Williams and Coach McDaniels presented his family with a plaque.
Earl's impact reached far beyond the Yellow Jackets’ gridiron where he earned the respect and camaraderie of the many graduates of the district and as a mentor to many young people, leaving a legacy of dedication and devotion to his alma mater as the “man with the mic" and the "Voice of the Yellow Jackets". #JacketPride

Our HOSA students have been busy collecting items for Hurricane Harvey relief. The support from our community has been amazing. Thank you so much! #bethechange #servewithpassion

Engaging learning opportunities is something you'll see in all our classes this year. Health Science I students learn medical terminology by collaborative illustrations. #KidsAreOurCustomers

Our Drafting I students are on the job today already learning how to design and sketch. #studentsuccess #KidsAreOurCustomers

All this year our students will be looking for ways to "Be the Change" they want to see in the world.
Our RRHS HOSA and Life Skills classes will be collecting donations over the next couple of weeks for the victims of Hurricane Harvey. We're specifically collecting school supplies and baby items. #bethechange #servewithpassion

For the first time we're offering Emergency Medical classes at RRHS. Our students started today by learning the basics of EMT equipment. #KidsAreOurCustomers
