Our first graders had the best time today. Joy the Clown came for a Magic Show with her cute pet bunny and dove. We topped off our year end celebration with Steve Milligan’s yummy snow cones. #TogetherWeSucceed

What better way to learn about fractions than to divide up a pizza. Students in Ms. Garner's class at Belmont completed a project based learning unit on fractions using their own paper made pizzas. They wrapped up the week by eating some "real pizza" to celebrate their hard work. #TogetherWeSucceed

Belmont Elementary is all about student growth, so we decided to end our week celebrating the students in each grade level that showed the most growth on their recent iReady assessments. Since our student's brains are stuffed with knowledge, we stuffed their bellies with ice cream sundaes and treated them to a stuffed animal of their choice. It pays to work hard!
