Good evening families! Our Manning Art Show will be held tomorrow evening, Monday April 15th, from 6-7 PM. The show will feature artwork from students, as well as a silent auction of classroom projects. Admission is $1 for all adults, and light refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you then!

Fun day of learning at the Roanoke Island Aquarium as part of our ESL (English as a Second Language) field trip.

Our student Art Show will be held on Monday, April 15th at 6:00 pm. Each student will contribute a piece to the display, as well as class projects. Class projects will be sold via silent auction. Volunteers are needed to help display projects on Sunday, April 14th beginning at 10:00 am. Please contact Ms. P. Brooks at brooksp.mann@rrgsd.org for more information.
Reminder! Our annual Manning Color Run is scheduled for Saturday April 13th. Please make sure to register for this event by this Sunday March 31st if you would like to secure a t-shirt and swag bag! Parents: Our ESL group is hosting a fundraiser today at Hangtime in Roanoke Rapids from 11:00 to 1:00. $11 an hour, $5 for lunch. School staff serving as chaperones. Look forward to seeing you!
Please share: Yard sale benefitting ESL Field Trip. Today 12:00-6:00. Tomorrow 7:00-12:00. First Christian Church Family Center next to the Burger King on Roanoke Avenue. Name brand clothing all sizes, shoes, housewares, baby items, sporting goods, books, dvds, etc. Very reasonable prices!

Parents: You can enjoy some free time this Saturday and support our ESL program at the same time. Roanoke Cinemas will be having a special showing of the movie Peter Rabbit (the live action one) this Saturday, Feb 23 at 10 a.m. Teachers and school staff will be watching the children so you can have a free morning. Parents and siblings are also welcome to stay and watch too!
The cost for this event is $10 and includes popcorn, drink, and admission to the movie.

(We will also be showing Jurassic Park in Spanish in the other theater. Children must have an adult with them to see this movie and it is completely in Spanish). These movies are being shown as fundraisers for the ESL students of RRGSD. #KidsAreOurCustomers
